John was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. The middle child of three boys (Which doesn’t come as a surprise to most people who know him). His fascination with the form and function of the construction industry was nurtured early on by his father, an architect who would bring him along to job sites whenever possible. John graduated from Southeast High School before heading to the University of Kansas to get his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
John has worked as a project manager and estimator in the construction industry for over 12 years, starting out in Seattle renovating commercial spaces in downtown high-rise buildings. From there he moved to Kansas City, continuing with renovations and new construction of schools, medical, commercial and industrial. In 2013, John finally made it back to Wichita, remaining in the commercial side of construction. As Senior Estimator, John pairs his technical background with construction experience in order to provide customers with the finished product they want while preserving their budget and time frame.
John lives in Wichita with his wife Kasey and 2 boys, Kellen age 6 and Clay age 3. In his free time, John enjoys playing with his kids, home improvement projects, golfing, welding, home brewing beer and volunteering. He is also a member of the Wichita Downtown Rotary.
