One of Zernco’s missions is to help develop the next generation of the shrinking construction workforce. We visit schools and educate the youth on what a career in construction looks like in an effort to change the sometimes negative perception of blue collar careers. Strengthen your resume and set the foundation for your professional career! At Zernco, our internship program will supplement your education by providing direct project involvement allowing you to expand your knowledge of the construction industry while gaining real world work experience. Throughout our 12-week internship program, we expose you to all areas of the construction process by assigning specific responsibilities that enable you to gain experience in construction processes and management methods.

Upon completion of an internship, you’ll take away invaluable work experience, a sense of contribution, and some new friends! In addition, our interns are given strong consideration for full-time employment after graduation.

You won’t just learn about construction management, you will experience it! Once the student becomes part of the Zernco Family, they are paired with a mentor to assist in their growth.  We also work with employees to create a Personal Development Plan in which we help them work towards achieving 1, 3, 5, and 10 year goals.
